Hi there👋,
What a day! The 8th Muizenberg x EcoActive Beach Run, our annual fundraiser, was our biggest yet with over 400 of you joining us down at Surfers Corner, and it was all thanks to you, our amazing community.
Whether you were running, walking, volunteering, or simply spreading the word to your friends and family, your contribution was invaluable. Because of you, we have once again raised vital funds and awareness for our Positive Youth Development (PYD) Programme. This means more children will be water safe and able to swim through our Drowning Prevention programme, and more youth will have access to the support they need to stay in school, build skills, and grow into leaders in their own communities.
While we celebrate this achievement, the need for our work remains constant. The momentum from this run will fuel our efforts for the coming months, but there is always more to be done. Your continued support, in any form, is what makes it possible for us to keep youth from vulnerable communities afloat in water and in life.
